The South Indian Maharashtrian Association (SIMA) was founded in 1978 as a registered association to promote and encourage the Maharashtrian culture among the Maharashtrians settled in South India. We seek to enrich the rich cultural heritage among Maharashtrians living in the Twin Cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad along with the rest of Andhra Pradesh. In addition to all the cultural development, we at SIMA, have understood the significance of Social improvement and our activities gradually expanded to providing educational scholarships to poor/meritorious students and financial assistance in times of medical emergency.
