SIMA has taken up the ambitious project of SIMA Bhavan which would comprise of a community hall,a library and a primary school (at a later date). Not only would such a project fulfill the needs of SIMA community but the community at large since facilities can be made available at reasonable charges. Such a project will help enhance SIMA’s image/ identity vis-à-vis the community at large.

However,due to the prohibitive cost of land/building space within a reasonable radius of the centre of the city we have had to defer implementation of the project till substantially more funds are raised.We appeal to one and all (particularly those with NRI children or relatives)to collect more funds expeditiously to help fulfill our dream project of SIMA Bhavan.

Present SIMA Bhavan: Till SIMA is in a position to afford own premises a rental premises ( 600 sq.feet hall which can accommodate 50 people) has been taken on lease for 3 years effective April 2010 and is located within the compound of Karnataka Sahitya Mandira ,in the lane next to Sri.Raghavendra Swami Mutt at Bagh Lingampally. This has been found very useful by SIMA to hold meetings and celebrate festivals such as Gudi Padva,Guru Purnima,Ganapathi,Varalaksmi Puja etc.etc.
