With dedicated service to the society all-round, SIMA has completed 25 glorious years of existence. In this connection, SIMA has drawn up a programme for organizing Sliver Jubilee Celebrations on 30th November 2003 at 6.00 PM at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. Sri N. Vittal, IAS (Rtd.) Former Central Vigilance Commissioner, Government of India & Chairman, Commission on People's Empowerment, AP bas kindly consented to inaugurate the celebrations. Eminent personalities and professionals from various parts of the country are expected to participate and SIMA will be recognizing their services to the Society. SIMA is also conducting Literary and Sports competitions for children and other age groups. Cultural and social programmes depicting South Indian culture, customs, art and crafts will also be organized. A block of the proposed SIMA bhavan will be announced. On this occasion, SIMA is bringing out a special souvenir commemorating 25 years of activities and historical articles on South India

SIMA has plans for construction of a Community Hall, a school, a dispensary etc. for the welfare of the general public. Such kind of philanthropic activity calls for a sound financial base besides the cooperation of all communities.
